Humidity and Temperature controller
This is a project for the Biology department of University of Athens.
The aim of the project was to create a device capable to control the humidity and the temperature in a Terrarium.
The device is using the SHT15 Sensirion sensor in order to measure the relative humidity(RH) and temperature with an +-2% absolute RH accuracy and a +-0.3°C temp accuracy.
Also it is equipped with an LDR in order to sense if its “day” or “night”.
The user can input the desired RH and temperature and with the use of PID control algorithms the device is keeping stable the desired values of RH and temp in the Terrarium by controlling a heater and a ultrasonic fog and humidity generator.
The device can “sense” if its day or night and automatically raises the humidity if its night in a pre programmed value depending on the desired RH that was set by the user for better simulation of the environment.Photos and code soon..
